Washroom services company B Hygienic has launched a host of new products as part of its pledge to raise cancer awareness.

In 2010 the Newstead company made a commitment to promote regular screenings through its ThinkPink campaign.

The initiative saw the manufacture of pink washroom products – complete with awareness messages.

But more recently the company, which has been supporting Cervical Cancer Awareness Week throughout January, has launched a teal-coloured range of products to raise awareness specifically of cervical and ovarian cancers.

In addition, B Hygienic has recently designed a urinal mat aimed to highlight testicular cancer awareness.

Managing director Vicky Allen, said: "Every year, millions of women, particularly between the ages of 25 and 29, don't go for regular screenings and to me, that's shocking. So through the business, we want to promote the importance of regular screenings.

"We do have grey and white products, but the reason we also have other colours such as pink and teal is so they stand out – so people are more likely to take notice."
